China Retracts Earlier Claim, Blames 'Fireworks'

In a bold reversal of tack, China attempted to retract it's earlier bold claims following the destruction of an airborne craft over Japan, saying instead that 'fireworks' were the cause. This insulting statement indicates a deeper mistrust of the press and a tightening of free speech in the PRC. 

Meanwhile, Russia's military advisor has confirmed that the nation has disclosed the locations of it's nuclear arsenal. When asked why it did such a thing, Russia claimed it was a 'general deterrant'
